When will my order ship?
Orders ship within 2-3 business days. We ship USPS Priority and most orders will arrive within 3 mail days of shipment. If you need your order faster, please contact us directly at info@covecaramel.com or (203) 295-4010 and we can expedite shipping.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 states in the United States.
Do you ship year-round?
Yes, we ship 12 months out of the year. If your caramel has been shipped to a warm climate or during the summer months, we recommend you allow your caramel to rest in a cool environment for a few hours.
How do I store my caramels?
Because our caramels are free of preservatives and additives, to help maintain freshness, they are best stored in an air tight container out of direct sunlight and heat (ideally in the refrigerator ) ...that is, of course, in the rare event they are not gone in the first few days!
What is the shelf life of your caramels?
Our caramels are best when enjoyed within three weeks. Eating your caramel after this is not harmful, but it will lose some of its quality and freshness. You can extend the life of your caramels by refrigerating for a few months….but you won’t likely need to!
What are the ingredients in your caramel?
Our caramel is made from organic sugars, creams, milk and nuts (where applicable). The butter is New Zealand grass-fed.
Are your caramels made with organic ingredients?
We use 95% grass-fed butter and all organic milk, cream, sugars and nuts to create a caramel with deep distinctive flavor and creamy texture.
Are your caramels gluten-free?
Yes, all of our caramels are naturally gluten-free, but not certified as such.
Are your vanilla and vanilla sea salt caramels nut free?
Although the vanilla and vanilla sea salt caramels do not contain nuts, they are made in a facility that utilizes nuts in production. So therefore we can not certify them as nut free.
Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes! Our Kraft boxes are made from recycled cardboard and our cellophane wrappers are both commercially and home compostable!
How much advance notice is needed for wedding/event favor orders?
Three weeks minimum is needed for standard favors in our packaging and six weeks is required for custom favors. Email custom@covecaramel.com we will be happy to work with you to make your event special!
Can I add a gift note to my online order?
Yes! Use the note button located in your cart during check-out to add your message, or email help@covecaramel.com to add it after checkout.
